It's been a few years since Miranda Gray published her first book, and now she's back to release her second novel, THE RED MOON. It tells the story of a woman who gets swept into an unfamiliar world in which nothing is as it seems. But when an eclipse plunges the world into darkness, she needs help - and the only person who might be able to come up with a solution is Miranda herself. Miranda Gray was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. After graduating from Waikato University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature, she worked as a journalist for two years before moving to Los Angeles. She wrote her first novel, "The Summer of Shifting Winds", while living in Venice Beach. In addition to writing books, Miranda is a mentor for the Screenwriting program at the New Zealand Film and Television School and is a presenter at the upcoming Kiwi Writers Festival being held in March 2013. She also works as an actor for film and theater productions. She now lives again in Auckland with her husband, actor/writer Benjamin Robertson.
